Experience Summary
Mr. Tresidder has over
twenty years of fire protection system design, assessment, and
installation experience. His experience includes fire detection, alarm,
and control systems, sprinklers for a broad range of hazards, preaction
systems, halon, and low and high expansion foam systems. He has
performed fire protection systems assessments, designed fire detection,
alarm, and suppression systems for several university and college
facilities including laboratories, classrooms, and dormitories, offshore
platforms, manufacturing facilities, warehouse and distribution
facilities and numerous other occupancies. Mr. Tresidder's professional
background includes code consulting and assessment, detailed design of
fire protection systems for both new and existing facilities, and
acceptance testing. He has worked on projects domestic and abroad.
Mr. Tresidder has handled a wide range of projects for a diversity of
clients. His fire protection system experience ranges from government
testing laboratories, petroleum terminals, offshore oil platforms,
aircraft hangars, air force facilities, and laboratories to hospitals
and office buildings. These projects have involved new construction,
retrofit and high-rise applications. Mr. Tresidder's experience spans
from plan layout, specifications and hydraulic calculations to the
application of codes, plan review, and contract administration. He has
developed his recent projects on HYT Corporation’s computer-aided
drafting (CAD) system and has been instrumental on developing practical,
constructible, cost-effective solutions for clients as a result.
Prior to HYT Corporation, Mr. Tresidder was a Fire Protection Engineer
with Crawford & Company. Prior to that engagement, he was a project
manager with Northstar Fire Protection Company.
